About Me
Hey there! I’m Nittany:)
I grew up hiking in the Sierra Nevadas of Northern California, & have had the travel bug for as long as I can remember.
My travel journey began after college graduation, with a two-month-long solo road trip across the United States of America. That experience almost single-handedly reinstated the self-confidence and self-trust I lost during the COVID-19 shutdown, and it showed me that traveling is really not as complicated as I had been led to believe.
Travel does not need to be expensive, elaborate, or glamorous. It’s more accessible than we think.
I spent 2024 studying abroad in Paris, riding the Eurail through Europe, volunteering with Worldpackers in Italy, hiking the 10-day Tour Du Mont Blanc, and moving in with my best friend in Romania.
But whether traveling abroad or day-tripping near home, travel is always worthwhile and it is always possible. Sometimes you just have to be a little bit scrappy about it.
My travel blogs and YouTube vlogs reflect my own experiences and will hopefully provide you with insight & color that demystify the reality of travel.
My journey would not have been possible without the incredible representation I found in other female travelers who shared their experiences online. Seeing so many women of different identities and backgrounds explore the world emboldened me to believe it was also possible for me.
I am honored to now add my voice to the mix ❤
